CLUB HISTORY (ABOUT US)
A Brief History of Worthy Hearts of Triumphs sporting Club (HOTSC).
Crafty Tradesmen made up of Carpenters, Masons, sprayers and Interior Decorator/Designers, to mention but a few, working under Messrs. WOODEXWORTHS GROUP, a General building & Construction/Interior Decoration Company based in Osu- Accra, capital city of the republic of Ghana, usually play football among colleagues (tradesmen groups) in their respective outfits known as the Weekend Departmental fun Games. This fitness approach developed on a very fast note among the youth between September 1986 to November1988, which saw management of numerous outfits keenly involved, thus moving on to scout for talents to “beef-up” their “would” teams.
SIR RICHARD NII LOMO JONES (Bsc, BA- Wales Untied Kingdom etc) now deceased, a former player of Glorious Accra Hearts Of Oak, Former Head master of LA-BONE SECONDARY SCHOOL,CHIEF EXAMINER- WEST AFRICAN EXAMS COUNCIL(W.A.E.C), just to mention a few of his numerous credentials, was the main architect to have initiated this plan, awaiting to officially inaugurate just around the time he would be celebrating his74th birthday but he short lived to achieve his natured aim and ambition. However, Worthy Heart Of Triumphs Sporting Club was officially outdoored on November 02, 1988, with its slogan “FROM VICTORY UNTO VICTORY, EVEN IN THUNDER, LIGHTENING OR RAIN.” Scouting for talents from region to region across the length and breath of the country-side, worthy Hearts Of Triumphs officials have successfully organized Soccer Clinics, Talent Hunts, Gala/Trial matches which have yield positive and spirited results in showcasing untapped, dedicated, disciplined and skilled youths ready to showcase their expertise and also dominate in Sports, especially Football Skills.
With support and assistance from Stakeholders/Corporate bodies (HORDS LTD, KOFI ABABIO& SONS etc) adding unparalleled sector knowledge, we would provide collaborative and technical assistance where necessary in all major sporting related programmes, owing to the vast experience gained over the last 20 years of the formation of the Club.
